Amanda B. Friedman grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland and attended arts High school in Washington, DC. She graduated in May, 2006 with a BA in Studio Art and Art History from the University of Vermont (UVM). She spent a year abroad studying Painting and Printmaking at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland.  Upon graduation she was awarded the Jennifer Goldstein Senior Art Award and had a solo show in the UVM, Colburn Art Gallery.

Amanda is currently living and working like a little bee in Brooklyn, NY.
